Fox!

We are so sorry we have not posted for a long time.  It has been a little bit busy around here, but now we have time!  We had a fox eat about 60 of our chickens in the last couple of months.  One morning Hannah and Kimber were running and they looked over to the field and saw the fox chasing the chickens around in circles.  So the girls ran into the field and chased  the fox away.  Then they ran to the house and got me and Caleb up.  So we ran to the field to see if we could find it, but we didn't.  Then a month or so later dad went to northern Virgina to work and spent the night at his mom's house.  In the middle of the night mom woke up and heard a high pitch scream.  At first mom thought it was one of her children but it was a fox.  If you want to hear it, click here.  A few weeks later one of our friends was hunting on our property and saw the fox,  and disposed of it.  It had fresh chicken for breakfast but we don't want to explain how we know that. :)   We thought the chickens were safe until we heard the same sound again so we moved the chickens to the coop at our house.Thank you for reading... we will try to post more often. Have a blessed week!
